Data is stored as frames in a TIFF file.
Each frame contains image data for one Z plane, with each subsequent frame being the next Z plane.
Image data for all ROIs imaged on a given Z plane are in each frame.
All metadata is stored in the Tiff file. This includes data defining the shape of all ROIs and the Z-planes that were imaged.
